Warehouse Grand Opening Details

What we do
For the past year, Crayons2Calculators (C2C) has operated a traveling warehouse, providing more than $6,000 worth of new school supplies to over 50 classrooms. We have visited E.K. Powe, Lakewood, and Forest View Elementary Schools.

Who we are
C2C was launched in spring 2006. Our organization is run by six students from Duke and UNC. Our board also includes members of the Durham School Board.

What is the Grand Opening?
We’re setting up shop! Now, instead of traveling from school to school, we are opening a storefront warehouse in downtown Durham to serve more teachers. At the Grand Opening, we will celebrate the successes of C2C’s inaugural year and join 40 teachers as they “shop” for free supplies at our new warehouse!

Why should I come?
We are inviting you to join us and many leading members of the Durham community for this Grand Opening because we know you share our commitment to improving the Durham Public Schools. Please join us for the ribbon cutting, raffles, and refreshments!

Directions
The warehouse is located at 109 E. Chapel Hill Street (at Morris Street) in downtown by Five Points. Follow the signs!
