2016-17 Grants and Fundraising
- The five Durham Rotary clubs again awarded us $9,200 to hold the first-year teacher giveaway.
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of NC awarded C2C $4000 to support monthly shopping.
- Durham Public Schools contributed $10,000 toward the operation of C2C.
- C.M Herndon Foundation donated $5000 to support our work.
2015-16 Grants and Fundraising
- The five Durham Rotary clubs awarded us $9,200 to hold the first-year teacher giveaway.
- We received the largest grant in our history from Walmart State Giving Program for $25,000. The grant has allowed us to add Bethesda Elementary as the 11th school participating in the Monthly Shopping Program, as well as invite Carrington, Neal, and Lowe’s Grove Middle Schools to giveaway events.
- Durham Public Schools contributed $10,000 toward the operation of C2C.
- C2C received $5000 from Durham County Government NonProfit Agency Funding Program
- Duke Community Care Fund also awarded us $5,000 which allowed us to include Brogden in our new efforts to serve high-need middle schools.
- The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation gave us $5,000 to upgrade our branding and build our capacity to raise funds.
- C2C received $5,755 as a beneficiary of the Murphey School Radio Show, a fundraising event of Shared Vision Foundation.
